Successful edition of ’20 km of Brussels’ - May 31, 2026 !

Following annual tradition, the ‘20 kilometers of Brussels’ running race took place last Sunday. Our colleagues at Customs also participated in this race once again under the colors of ECSA (European Customs Sport Association). In addition to the 22 Belgian customs officers, 11 ECSA colleagues took part. They came from the Netherlands, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Austria, and the Czech Republic.

It was a wonderful opportunity to share a friendly and sporting moment between customs officers from various European countries.

Sharp times were set again this year:

Alexandre Caudron (France) delivered the best performance for the ECSA team, with a time of 1:16:15.

At Belgian Customs, it was Jean-François D’Amico who set the best time, namely 1:25:30.

As for our female colleagues, Marion Savet (France) crossed the finish line first with 1:28:51.

For Belgian customs, it was Sybille Cuypers who finished first with a time of 2:09:27.

A huge congratulations and thank you to all participants. We are already looking forward to next year!
