Austrian Customs Authority has undergone an organizational change in the beginning of 2021 and the Customs Authority Austria initiated a new Austrian Customs Sports Association (Zollsportverein Österreich) by May 9th 2021.
The main objectives are:
- To strengthen the cooperation and the solidarity between the customs officers
- Identification with the Customs Authority Austria
- Integration of young officers
- Networking between the customs offices in Austria
- Workplace health promotion
The Austrian Customs Sports Association organises different sports events each year and especially the Multi-Sports Event in summer (running, volleyball, soccer, tennis and table tennis) brings together 150 customs officers.
