The Italian Customs Association, (A.D.I. Associazione Doganale Italiana) fully cooperates with the Italian Administration and is accredited to represent the Italian Customs and Monopolies Agency in official sports competitions organized at national and international level.
The Italian Customs Association, (A.D.I. Associazione Doganale Italiana) fully cooperates with the Italian Administration and is accredited to represent the Italian Customs and Monopolies Agency in official sports competitions organized at national and international level. The Italian Customs and Monopolies Agency, (Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli), being the Italian Customs Authority, carries out all the tasks provided for by the National and Community legislation.
The Italian Customs Association aims at organizing sports, cultural, social, recreational events in order to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience among employees and a greater awareness of the institution of customs.
Italian athletes participate in several E.C.S.A. competitions, both as a team or at individual level, such as running, long distance walking, swimming, football, bowling, tennis, cycling, volleyball and so on, and last but not least …skiing. In fact, Italy hosts the Skiing Customs Championship since 1995.
Skiing in Italy – “White Week” – Every year we choose a different location for skiing in Italy, trying to offer (at the cheapest price) winter holidays in wonderful ski circuits of the Italian Alps. There is also the chance to go skiing for a week as a training, on the slopes often being used for the Alpine Ski World Cup. In order to allow participation in competition of those who love snow and ski (most of the participants of the White Week are not professional skiers), the Ski Customs Championship may be considered for average skiers. The days of the competitions are included in the white week and are usually organized as follows: a short briefing usually the day before, the competitions which last two days (two runs for giant slalom/snowboard and national cross-country) and the evening awards ceremony.
The Italian Customs Association (A.D.I.) is a member of ECSA. since its foundation.
