Welcome to the Kosovo ECSA page, the newest member of the European Customs Sports Association.
Kosovo Customs is part of the Ministry of Finance, Labour, and Transfers of the Republic of Kosovo. Customs Service in Kosovo was established in August 1999 by the pillar of the EU, to ensure the application of uniform customs regulations and other provisions applicable to goods, which are subject to customs supervision. Kosovo Customs like every customs administration around the globe has a broad mission, starting from the protection of the state, economy, and its citizens. We work on achieving our strategic aims: to continue to modernize customs operations and help to improve revenue collection; facilitate trade efficiency and competitiveness by substantially reducing transaction time and costs; improve security by streamlining procedures of cargo control, transit of goods, and clearance of goods; fight corruption by enhancing the transparency of transactions. Kosovo became a member of the World Customs Organization in January 2017. Kosovo is the 181st member of the WCO.
The employees of Kosovo Customs are the driving force behind its success!

Kosovo Customs has developed based on EU standards and has about 591 employees. Yearly, are carried out around 100 training activities in more than 80 different fields and about 500 customs officials are trained each year. We encourage our personnel to take up a wider social role. We do believe that sports activities will foster social roles, and social inclusion, and participating in these activities among organizational members will strengthen social cohesion within the community and wider. Kosovo Customs embraces and supports the values of the ECSA, that through sports and joint participation, we will increase mutual understanding between its members and at the same time promote sports and cultural cooperation that will strongly contribute to and enrich public profiles for customs administrations.
