The State Revenue Service is a direct administration authority under the supervision of the Minister of Finance, which ensures the accounting of tax payments and taxpayers, the collection of State taxes, fees and other mandatory payments determined by the State in the territory of the Republic of Latvia, as well as collects taxes, fees and other mandatory payments for the budget of the European Union, implements the customs policy and organises customs matters.
The SRS National Customs Board is a structural unit that is subordinate to the SRS Deputy Director General for Customs Issues, Director of the National Customs Board. Its structure and work organisation is stipulated by the Rules of Procedure of the SRS National Customs Board.
Latvian customs administration actively participates in ECSA events, such as running and shooting, since 2005.
