The National Revenue Administration (NRA) is a merger of tax administration, fiscal control and Customs Service. The creation of NRA is a reform of the existing structures of tax administration, Customs Service and fiscal control service. The change enables better use of their human, financial and organizational resources. The minister in charge of public finances is responsible for coordination and cooperation in shaping state policy relating to NRA tasks. The combined administration is managed by the Head of NRA. The reform has entered into force on 1st March 2017 under the National Revenue Administration Act.
The Tax and Customs Academy was established on the 1st of March 2017. The seat of the Tax and Customs Academy is in Warsaw, 4 Okrzei Street. Within the Academy there are 8 training centres located in: Białobrzegi, Jastrzębia Góra, Kamion, Kraków, Muszyna, Otwock, Przemyśl and Wrocław
Key responsibilities:
• coordination of training activities in the National Revenue Administration;
• preparation and development of a unified training system;
• drafting training programs and materials;
• research and analysis of training needs in the National Revenue Administration;
• planning and organizing training courses and other forms of personal development;

Poland became a member of ECSA in the year 2000 and from that time participate regularly in ECSA events such as marathons, the Brussels 20k and table tennis.
From 2005 NRA participate in international sports activities organized by ECSA and we have pleasure to hold the International Table Tennis Tournament in Tax & Customs Academy Training Centre in Otwock. Each year, tournament has received a lot of interest from ECSA state and representatives of DG TAXUD as Polish National Revenue Administration and international players from Hungary, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Belgium, Austria, Italy, Norway, Finland, Luxembourg, and Germany.
