
Floorball
Floorball is not a very well known sport. It is played indoor with five players and a goalkeeper in each team.
Players use a 96–115.5 cm-long (37.8–45.5 in) stick and a 70–72 mm-diameter (2.76–2.83 in) hollow plastic ball with holes.
Matches are played in three periods.
The sport is popular in Northern and Eastern Countries in Europe and mainly organised by one of these Countries.
Sweden hosted this ECSA-event for the last time in 2024.

Mountainbike
Often over rough terrain, usually using specially designed bikes it share similarities with other bikes but incorporate features designed to enhance durability and performance in rough terrain,
The sport requires endurance, core and back strength, balance, bike handling skills, and self-reliance. Advanced riders pursue both steep technical descents and high-incline climbs.
Last years mountain biking events were organised in the UK and had different levels of terrain and distance.

Skiing
With Italy as a steady host, Skiing is on the ECSA-Calendar every year.
During the so called "White Week" or "Settimana Bianca" several Skiing and Snowboard disciplines are organised in the first quarter of the year. In the Italian Alps or Dolomites particants challenge eachother and themselves in the snowy Mountains.

Walking
Every year the 4-Days Marches take place in The Netherlands.
During 4 days particpants walk 40 or 50 kilometers per day in a group and are accompanied by group leaders. Medical support and catering is organised during this challenging walk.
Good preparation and training is needed to fulfill the 4-Days.

Table Tennis
With Poland as a steady host, a Table Tennis tournement is organised every year.
Divided in age categories matchs are played in singles, doubles (both for men and women) and a mixed competition.
The competition is conducted by federal judges in accordance with ITTF.

Fitness
The annual virtual event of ECSA!
During one week collegues are encouraged to organise fitness-activities for themselves.
Photos (which have to include the ECSA logo) can be shared with the EC and the best photo will be published on the ECSA-website.

Golf
Once every 2 years a golf tournament is organised in one of the countries of our member states.
Strokeplay, Stableford or Matchplay are the most common forms of competition in which both men and women are invited to play.
The tournament is played by the rules of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of Saint Andrews.

Running
The 20K of Brussels is on the ECSA-calendar every year.
In the framework of the international running event “20 kilometres of Brussels” Belgium Customs hosts the participation for ECSA members .
Marathons take place throughout Europe every year. EC-members are stimulated to join one of these marathons and organise participation for ECSA members. Our goal is to have a marathon on our calendar every year.

Multi-Sports
A fairly new concept for ECSA is the Multi-Sports event.
Organised by the Austrian Customs ECSA-members are invited to join this event with several sports.
Soccer, Volleyball, Tabel Tennis, Running and Tennis are part of this event in mix of both male and female competitors.

Road Cycling
In team and individual competition participants challenge eachother in different disciplines.
There are several distances and/or time limits and there is a competition for both men and women.
The event is mostly organised by and in the United Kingdom.

Shooting
The shooting competion is an event which stands very close to the work of Customs.
Within the guidelines of the EPP (European Police Parcour) this competition is organised in different countries of our member states.

Sniffer Dogs
The competition for Custom sniffer dogs rarely takes place; it is hard to organise.
Member states are encouraged and organise this event.

Tennis
The tennis tournament for men and women is played in a single and doubles competition.
Devided in different age categories participants play on gravel or hardcourt.

Urban Trail
Every year this event is organised in Luxembourg.
Participants are challenged to run in different stages and terrain through and around the city of Luxembourg.
The event is about exploring an unusual side of Luxembourg town and (re)discovering its heritage.

Volleyball
The volleyball tournament is played in men, women and mixed teams according to the FIVB rules.
It is organised as a tournament itself, but also as one of the sports of the Mult-Sports event which takes place in Austria.

Bowling
The bowling competition is played as the 10-pin format.
A game consists of ten frames, which start with a full rack of ten pins . In every frame with two deliveries of balls as many pins as possible have to be knocked down. Points are scored for every pin knocked down on each roll of a frame.

Swimming
The tournament is organized in categories freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly and backstroke.
Races can be individual and as a relay and distances vary from 50m to 400m.
The number of points scored in singles, doubles and mixes will create the ranking of the participating countries.

Football
The tournament is played in the format of Six-A-Side .
On pitch dimensions of 50 x 35 meters a team of 6 players of men and/or women play the game.
